The general objective of this proposal is the formation of rural women into leaders that because of their history, origin and identity have a strong gender vision and are committed to execute strategies that will lead to development in their communities. Strong women that can oppose the problems that are faced in daily life.

Specific objectives are following:
- Generate a process of analysis and reflection amongst the participating women with regard to the mission and vision of the organisation
- Widely spread the knowledge of the participants by training and making use of didactics and group dynamics
- Strengthen the individual and collective identity of the groups and organisations of the AMMOR women by becoming more involved in the planning and execution of development strategies
- Collaborate in economic, social and political development of the participating women by strategic organisational development
- Strengthen the capacities of the women and their representing institutions at all levels with gender equality
- Realise exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences between the participating women
- Develop methodological instruments to strengthen leadership of women in their local environment
- Widely spread the knowledge and experience which will be acquired through this formation program.

AMMOR distinguishes the following components:
1. Consolidation of the capacities of the women
2. Strengthening of the organisational life of the women
3. Spreading of the formation process to strengthen itself

Per component AMMOR will execute the following activities:
1. 9 formation workshops have been realised in Mexico City for 18 selected women in following 3 subjects: Human rights of women, Organisational strengthening, Development of leadership
2. Organise a national meeting for female leaders and a national event to exchange experiences in Mexico City
3. 4 didactic materials have been developed for educational purposes and a book has been realised to capitalise past experiences

The above described activities will lead to the following results:
1. Women will apply the learned techniques and mechanisms to improve their organisational activities, spread the formation process through the reflections and proposals that have been developed in the process, at midterm a national school will be established and at longer term it is expected to establish regional centers, so the women will have access to knowledge to develop a vision on strategies for development which can be applied at short term.
Tangible result: for every workshop notes will be taken of what happened and the experiences will be systematized to be shared
2. Deep and broad knowledge of the activities of the women that form the diverse member groups and organisations of AMMOR, know the expectations at short and mid term of the women that collectively organise themselves, unite results and failures to make AMMOR a consolidated entity, better participation of the women within AMMOR.
Tangible result: For each event notes will be taken of what happened and the experiences will be systematized to be shared. 4 case studies will be obtained.
3. AMMOR will improve its identity amongst the female members, the feelings of women will be heard and exposed so they will serve as reference point for women that are in a state of discrimination, oppression, exclusion or marginalisation, AMMOR has spread the knowledge in several ways inclusive and with its gender perspective.
Tangible results: 3 didactic manuals have been developed, each referring to a different study module, gained experiences will be capitalised in a book of experiences, development of an audiovisual didactic.
GOALS
Facilitar el conocimiento a las mujeres del sector rural, y se apropien de los mecanismos, herramientas y técnicas necesarias, las cuales puedan implementar en sus comunidades y ello las lleve a generar sus propias estrategias de desarrollo y las convierta en auténticas Mujeres Líderes
